I found it initially hard to set up but their customer support was easy to get and helped me straighten out my noobie problems. I only use it to store music and doc files so I have no problems with streaming (you can get movies from home but you have to download them first, I never bother) its important that you store your folders in an organized fashion as well, because the interface... These NAS devices are getting more space for less money all the time. My 2T is worth what I paid.

Its been a love-hate affair with this personal cloud. Ive tried to reset it by pressing the reset button 10-15-20 seconds and still cant. Had to work out the side door. I havent been able to download pictures when away, I can see them in the app, but cant download them. Ive invested in time to upload 12,000 pictures, so I hope I can solve my problems.

Seagate wireless lately upgraded to a very practical tool for backup and play.Your mobile device eg tablet iPad is not restricted to a its limited memory . It increases its memory to 1000 Gb. Amazing

One of the greatest features of this app is that it will auto update. To bad it doesnt work. Ever. Poor app

Good idea to have wireless hard drive , but in reality its doesnt work well with seagate drive. You have to select drives network to do any synchronization. So, in short, all features works, but its slow, awkward to use and not always works as expected.

It gets the job done but needs to be able to play a lot more formats.

All and all it works pretty good but a little difficult to navigate and set up, user interface leaves a little to be desired.

I use the download function all the time when connected to my cloud so I can watch movies and shows when I am away from home but this app has a habit of "freezing" and next thing you know everything that you have just downloaded is deleted with no record of it even happening. It completely erases everything you have downloaded and saved to your tablet. It seems to also only happen when no longer connected to the cloud, not sure if thats a coincidence or not.

I pretty much like the app. But it takes too long, much too long to be able to see the downloaded images. If you have, say 10,000 photos and you need to find and load 3 or 4 images, you will have to wait an eternity to view the images...

This is a good app but not as instinctive as good apps should be.

My name is Peter Susin, I enjoy the app. Very much, some of the issues seems to have been resolved, thank-you, I bought Seagate- Plus, its a great wireless drive, never had a problem with app erasing anything , and I love the automatic upload from my iPad to the go-plus drive...five stars out of five.

Despite the bad comments, my experience is good. Everything seems to connect quickly, Im not computer literate, so if I can work it, it must be okay. I now have a little more experience, and it seems to work ok for me, still. Just today, after quite awhile, I discovered how to find a photo id number, this helps finding the upload happened ok. Why is it asking the rate of this app continuously???

October 28, 2016- still garbage. Nothing more to say. Steer well clear of this garbage. Seagate isnt doing anything. If you purchase the drive to stream movies to your iOS devices, youll end up with a paper weight- a cheaply made, ugly, POS paperweight. Update: Jan 3, 2015. Still no fix. I emailed Seagate again and they state the issue is with Apple. The tech support person said to get in touch with Apple in attempt to put pressure on them to work with Seagate and get a fix. Pfft...yeah, sure. So Im guessing Ill just sell this POS drive. I love it when tech companies blame other tech companies for why their products dont work. Update- still doesnt work in iOS 8. "We are working on a fix"...sure you are Seagate. The SanDisk iXpand has been ordered. If you follow the instructions in the product description to get the firmware update, you wont be able to find it on the seagate site. You have to search for it. Once I found the correct firmware update, I actually needed a previous update so I could accept the latest update that is supposed to help with ios 7 compatibility. The only problem is, you cant drag and drop the necessary files (i.e., the .bin file). I used the installer packaged with the drive to wipe it- once I did that, the updates could be applied. Ill update on its functionality. Update: finally got the update to install properly. I agree with everyone else- the UI is esthetically challenged.

İ want video support like avplayer.why we have to buy an app for non supporting video files .seagete can make an upgrade an support all media files.i use avplayer with goflex media.till 60mb videos it s ok.but when i try to watch 1gb video or more with avplayer on goflex media video doesnt open.so it s a lie that we can use third party apps with goflex.my all movies are more than 60mb as everyone.i tried Oplayer too.it was the same

This program is not useful and too slow I bought this hard driver but it is upset for me I want to sell immediately :(

You can open any doc pic vid pdf etc with specific prog working those and in your ipad with safari connection. Gives what is promissed, read faq carefully
