Latest version works fine as picture backup. A simple search feature would be nice.

2 generations of iPhones with bigger screens and higher resolutions and you still dont update this app to take advantage of bigger screens. WAKE UP!!! What are you waiting for the iPhone 9, try again.

Ive had my seagate central devices for about 2 years. This app through all of its revisions has as of yet to connect to them one single time from my iPad 4!!!!!!! This is over my personal home network!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!MM

I bought the 6TB Personal Cloud for over $300, so Id expect their app to at least work with the cloud. Well, uploading your photo library is impossible and deleting files is also a hassle. Not to mention crash frequencies and freezes. For a companion app of a highly priced device Id expect it to at least have basic capabilities that work.

I would have given it 5 stars but just recently (3 days ago) I downloaded 2 videos that were on my Mac BooK Pro to my Seagate Personal Cloud so I could watch it on my Apple IPAD. It showed up on my computer that it was loaded, but I could not find it on my IPAD. I am going to re-do it again tomorrow and see if it works. If not I will call Seagate to see what to do. I load a lot of videos on to the Personal Cloud and it always works so I am confident that this issue will be resolved. (My pPersonal cloud is only about 14 % full so I know that is not the issue)

Hello everyone, Installed this app in the beginning of 2016 and had no problems streaming content from my Seagate cloud to my Xbox One. After the recent April 11th update, the icon to connect to my Xbox One no longer appears. Both devices were and still are connected to the same network router and channel along with my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.3.1. Without the ability to connect to my Xbox, I can not stream my content. Please update your recent update!

This app is BS. DO NOT GET IT AND DO NOT BY SEAGATE PRODUCTS. I have this app to go along with a SEAGATE wireless media storage device. The one that creates a connection. Got it specifically to store my iTunes movies and stream them on trips. I travel a lot for work. It doesnt support apple DRM. You are better off getting the 128gb iPhone or pad and just downloading them to you device. 2 years Ive had the SEAGATE app and device and it has sat in a drawer the entire time. SEAGATE will never see a single penny of my business.

Me personally; like to secure all my devices, especially hard-drives. After buying the drive, I did a full encryption with password protection on the drive which took a really long time since I got the 2TB. Using the bit locker allowed me to protect the drive when plugging to any PC which would require password to access the drive. On my iPad or iPhone I was able to connect the drive with its wifi. Here is the issue and reason I give this a bad rating. When I tried to use the seagate media app; wouldnt detect the drive at all through the app. So I decided to decrypt the entire drive and then the media app was able to detect my drive. Yes I was able to setup the wifi password protection through the app from anyone accessing my drive wirelessly. However my drive still can be accessed with usb directly plugged in to any device-since its not password protected anymore due to decrypting the drive and removing password protection with bit locker. Seagate whats your solution for this??? Personally I think-- a updated is needed with giving users the option to password protect the drive totally even if its being used via usb and not just offer lock option with wifi only. Main reason I bought this wireless drive was to get extra storage for iPad and use the app. Now I gotta watch where I leave my drive since anyone can take it a view the content with usb which is very disappointing.

Been using this app or about a month. It allows me to move items to and from my personal cloud. Havent had any major problems that werent related to my knowledge and understanding.

Not sure what the deal is with the negative reviews as I have never had a problem. Works extremely well and fully reliable. I think the issue must be user error....or a competitors sad attempt to level the playing field.
